The facelift has given the car a new headlamp cluster. The cluster sure contains the blue tint like a sparkle in the eye. The new WagonR design makes the car look more macho compared to its predecessor. The car has also received an all-new ever-smiling grille and new front bumpers. Coming to the interiors, the sporty new WagonR sports an all-new dashboard design and enhanced plastic quality.
A BS IV compliant K-10B engine powers the new WagonR by Maruti Suzuki. The 998cc three-cylinder K-Series engine can deliver 67 bhp of power, a maximum torque of 90 Nm, and gives a mileage of 18kmpl. This engine is coupled with a cable-type 5-speed manual transmission. It also has the new frame type suspension for added stability. The NVH levels are also enhanced. The new WagonR launched by Maruti Suzuki also has changes in the front suspension to see to better car handling.
Maruti Suzuki has done a good job by pricing the new WagonR aggressively. The LX variant comes at Rs 3.28 Lakh, while the LXi costs Rs 3.57 lakhs. The VXi carries a Rs 3.81 lakh tag and the VXi version with ABS plus Airbags will cost just Rs 4.12 lakhs.
The new WagonR launched by Maruti Suzuki has changes in the interiors as well. Dual-tone interiors of the new car are simply amazing and it has 3-D fabric seats with 60:40 split rear seats. There is silver accentuation everywhere. The interiors also sport a new tilt steering wheel, an ergonomic gear knob and a new speedometer design. The car comes with an integrated audio with AUX-in and 6-band graphic equalizer for entertainment. The full-trim interiors including A, B and C pillar trims create a brilliant ambience.
The new WagonR launched by Maruti Suzuki is very spacious too. The legroom is outstanding and the front seats welcome even tall users to have a seat. The headroom is awesome. The new WagonR has push-type cup holders with a utility hook and a sturdy, deeper glove box with an integrated shelf, a rear parcel tray and an integrated tool box. The utility basket sends across an environment-care message. The front door map pocket and soft inserts on the floor console that protect the cell-phone camera unit.
The electrical outside rear view mirror provides great visibility. The new WagonR launched by Maruti Suzuki just the other day comes with loads of features like power windows, keyless entry, foldable assist-grips and the new HVAC unit providing a temperature reduction of four degrees than the existing model. The high-end variant has added safety features too, like ABS & dual airbags, rear defogger, wiper & washer, driver seat belt indicator and the i-CATS security system.
The cosmetic surgery that the new WagonR has received, takes the earlier design one level higher into the upmarket urban car territory. Let?s wait and watch if it beats the more established competitors like the Chevrolet Beat and the Hyundai i10.

RAMALLAH， Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Palestinian officials expressed Friday looking forward to achieving peace with Israel on the basis of the two state solution under the new administration of U.S. President Donald Trump， while some Palestinian factions expressed skepticism towards Washington's position towards peace.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated Trump on his official inauguration as 45th President of the United States Friday， saying ""I congratulate U.S. President Donald Trump and look forward to working with him for peace， security and stability in an unsettled world and a region going through a tragic period， and contribute towards creating a secure future for everyone.""
Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Saeb Erekat said Friday that Palestinians are willing to work and cooperate with the new U.S. Administration under President Trump to achieve security and peace in the Middle East region and ending the conflict with Israel based on the two state solution.
Erekat told Xinhua ""we look forward to working with positivity with Trump's administration after his official inauguration today， in order to realize the two state solution on the borders of 1967.""
The PLO official called on Trump not to fulfill the promise he launched during his electoral campaign to move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem， ""because this step means the destruction of the two state solution and the peace process.""
Erekat underscored that security， peace and stability in the region will not come unless the Israeli occupation that started in 1967 comes to an end， with the establishment of the Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital to live side by side with the state of Israel in peace.
Republican Trump has become the 45th President of the United States， after being officially inaugurated Friday in Capitol Hill， Washington DC.
Trump and his aides expressed support to Israeli settlements and the moving of the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem， especially during the electoral campaign.
In reaction， Palestinians launched a diplomatic campaign against such a move. The Palestinian president said Wednesday that moving the U.S. embassy will destroy the already stalled peace process with Israel.
Palestinian officials warned that if such a move is made， they will reconsider the recognition of the state of Israel.
Meanwhile， spokesperson of the Islamic Hamas movement controlling the Gaza Strip since 2007， Hazem Qassim said Palestinians ""do not rely much on any change in the U.S. presidency in light of the historic American backing to Israel， especially with taking into account Trump's statements.""
